Polygon, a “layer two” or “sidechain” scaling solution that runs alongside the Ethereum blockchain allowing for speedy transactions and low fees, has always worked hard to contribute to the building for the ETH ecosystem in zk-Tech, and many steps forward have been made so far. 

Recently, Polygon team published a proposal to upgrade Polygon PoS to a zkEVM validium, a first-of-its-kind, decentralized ZK Layer 2. This is a major milestone for the Polygon ecosystem, as it would enable Polygon PoS to become more secure, more performant, and a core part of the Polygon 2.0 ecosystem. Thus, the main objectives are to utilise Ethereum's unbeaten security, capitalising on Polygon's scalability and only providing the block header to ethereum validators.  

Despite that, communities around Ethereum's Maximalists are voicing harsh criticism. Why is Buterin silent? Maybe Butalik fears having a competitor in front of him who can fly alone in the future? Maybe other L2s will follow Polygon's example? Polygon's long-held frustration is centered on being treated as Ethereum's stepchild while being responsible for considerable traffic on the ETH network, esp in 2021. 

Your task is to create a fun, ironic, and memorable meme/gif, or in alternative a set of at least 3 stickers, to represent this new situation between family members Polygon and Ethereum who rely on each other. Possibly referencing the founders' or team members' arguments. Your gif meme must be short and creative.

4) As an alternative, you can create a set of at least 3 stickers on the same topic.

5) Post it on both your Reddit and Twitter accounts. Make a good Tweet copy that helps your audience to get your point and engage.

How we will compensate you

After your meme is validated, you may be granted up to 250 Points, according to quality and reach. The Top-3 most engaging and compelling will get 100 extra Points each, plus 0.1 REP. 

Validators will give motivational points to worthy runner-up submissions. All accepted submissions will be considered for a (later announced) second round of community voting selection so they can be Approved and get extra compensation.
